About These Terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, applies for membership, buys a ticket or attends an event run by Chellz Wild Events ("we", "us", "our"). They work alongside our Etiquette and Policies and our Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to use this website, become a member or attend an event.
- Photo ID (driver licence, passport or 18+ card) is required at the door of every event. No ID, no entry.
- You must give true and accurate information when you apply and when you buy tickets.
Membership
- Membership is by application only. Every application is reviewed, and we may approve or decline any application at our discretion without giving a reason.
- Approved members receive a private member code. Your code is personal to you (or to you and your partner, for a couple's membership). Do not share it.
- You are responsible for keeping your details up to date. Contact us if your email or phone number changes.
- We may suspend or cancel a membership at any time if these terms or our Etiquette and Policies are broken, or if we believe a member poses a risk to the safety or comfort of others.
- You can end your membership at any time by contacting us.
Tickets and Payment
- Tickets are available to approved members only. Orders from anyone who isn't an approved member will be cancelled.
- Ticket prices are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable.
- When you reserve tickets you receive a booking reference. Pay by bank transfer using that reference. Your tickets are only confirmed once we receive full payment.
- We may release unpaid reservations if payment isn't received within 48 hours, or before the event if it's sooner.
- Tickets are for the named member and their registered guests only, and may not be resold or transferred without our written approval.
- Venue details are sent to confirmed ticket holders before the event.
Refunds and Cancellations
- If you cancel 7 or more days before the event, you can request a refund or a credit towards a future event. Within 7 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable, but you may ask to transfer to another event at our discretion.
- If we cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund or, if you prefer, a credit towards a future event.
- If we change the date or venue, we'll let you know as soon as possible. If you can't make the new arrangement, you can request a full refund.
- No refunds are given to anyone refused entry or removed from an event for breaking these terms or our Etiquette and Policies.
Conduct at Events
Every guest must follow our Etiquette and Policies. In particular:
- Consent is required at all times, for everything. No means no.
- Harassment, discrimination, pressure or aggressive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and in line with the venue's licence.
- You must follow the reasonable directions of our hosts, security and venue staff.
Right of Entry
We and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who appears intoxicated, does not meet the dress code, cannot show valid ID, or whose behaviour we consider unsafe or inappropriate. Anyone removed may have their membership cancelled.
Privacy and Photography
- Photos, video and audio recording of other guests are strictly prohibited. Phones and cameras must be put away in event spaces.
- You must not share the name, image or identifying details of any other guest, on or offline.
- How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Responsibility and Liability
- You attend events at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions, belongings and wellbeing, including any activities you choose to take part in.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, damage or theft that occurs at or in connection with an event, except where it is caused by our negligence.
- You are responsible for any damage you cause to the venue or to other guests' property.
- Where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, our liability is limited as far as that Act allows. If you are booking for business purposes, the parties agree the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.
Use of This Website
- The content, logo and design of this website belong to Chellz Wild Events and may not be copied or used without our permission.
- You must not misuse the website, try to access areas you aren't authorised to use, or interfere with its operation.
- We try to keep event details accurate, but dates, times, prices and line-ups may change.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page. Changes will not affect tickets already confirmed before the change.
Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
